Your gut is not just the place where food is digested, and waste is eliminated – it is so much more than that. It is the place that houses a large part of your immune system. Disease prevention starts with good gut health. You cannot be healthy with an unhealthy gut.
Food intolerances are very common and food intolerant tests are often used to identify which foods are problematic for person to person. They frequently result in a long list of foods you should avoid with many of these being healthy foods. From our experience, they are inaccurate, unreliable and overpriced.
At Solar Alvura we will begin your gut healing protocol so you don’t react poorly to a whole host of various foods and we start an elimination diet that will help you identify which foods are beneficial and which are problematic for you.
While we cannot promise healing in 5 days we can give you a promise that you will already start
feeling better during this time, you will start seeing results and be amazed by all the other positive side-effects of our gut health diet.
If excess weight is one of your personal health concerns, we will ensure your personal gut healing protocol is also suited to ensure weight loss as an added benefit.

An Example of a Typical Day
7:00 – 7:45: Morning drink. Coffee, Ceylon tea, Herbal tea, Lemon water, etc.
8:00: Guided Five Tibetans in our outdoor yoga tent. Perfect stretches to get the blood flowing and improve energy or Make use of the gym or walk around our orange grove (1km around the resort) at your leisure.
9:00 – Morning detox drink – energize your cells with a nutrient packed drink with demo/teaching
9:30 – Morning focus/mindfulness practice.
10:00-11:00 - Exercise class or walk
11:00 – 11:30 - Breakfast with demo/teaching
13:00 - Cooking demo
13:30-14.30 - Lunch with teaching
14:30-15:15 - Siesta: power nap
15:30-16:30 - Exercise class or yoga
17:45-18:45 - Sea swimming or relax and swim in the hotel pool
19:00-20.00 - Dinner
21:00 - Bed time meditation
22.00 - Bedtime
Taking part in all the group activities listed above is optional and on on a voluntary basis. Healing can’t happen without rest. We advise that all our guests listen to their bodies needs and to prioritize rest when they feel tired.
Private consultations will take place at various times when suitable for each guest.
